The Origin
Amber Vault AI started inside the same problem its founder spent years living: earth science workflows held together by spreadsheets, brittle exports between mismatched tools, and reporting cycles that swallow whole weeks.
The big-name industry platforms are powerful but rigid, expensive, and almost never shaped around how a specific team actually works. The generic SaaS world has tools for everything — except the messy, domain-specific bits that matter most to geoscience. And the AI hype cycle keeps producing demos that don't survive contact with real assay data, log curves, or compliance requirements.
So we built a studio for the in-between: consulting engagements where someone who reads the same data you do can audit your workflow honestly, and software builds where the tool ends up shaped around your geology instead of around someone else's roadmap.

Domain Beats Generic
A team that already knows what a QA/QC duplicate, a NI 43-101 boundary, or a triple-combo log is delivers in weeks what a generic shop spends months learning. We start with the domain.

How We Engage
Most of our work falls into three shapes:
- Short audits — fixed-fee, two-to-four weeks, ending in a written diagnosis and prioritized roadmap. Good first step if you're not sure where to start.
- Build engagements — scoped software or automation projects, weekly check-ins, demo-driven. Could be a single internal tool, an MVP for an internal platform, or a focused automation pipeline.
- Operate retainers — ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and incremental improvement of systems we've built or inherited. Capped hours, no surprises.
We work with junior exploration companies, mid-tier producers, environmental consultancies, and energy operators. Founder-led, deliberately small, no offshoring.
